Framed by thirteen 4,000 m peaks, the panorama of Saas-Fee is mind-blowing. The lifts reach up to 3,600 m, including the well-known Metro Alpin, and present skiiers with more than 100 km of runs, varying in difficulty. Saas-Grund, 3 km from Saas-Fee (regular ski bus transfers), has a small but fantastic ski area, which connects a further 45 km of piste up to an altitude of 3,200 m using modern lift systems.
