Through the connection of two ski areas, "Paradiski" was created, a superlative that lets skiers' hearts beat faster. With the lift pass "Les Arcs", you can discover 200 kilometres of piste that are connected by 54 lifts. Numerous glacier pistes to 3,250 m, forest runs, mogul slopes, deep snow areas, fun parks and beginners' runs provide the necessary variety. Especially advantageous: most pistes begin very close to your door. Les Arcs - pure variety!
Les Arcs is composed of the stations Arc 1600, 1800, 1950 and 2000. 1600 is the oldest of the planned villages. Families and beginners especially come here, due to the easier pistes. Arc 1800, the snowboarder and freerider's stronghold, is pretty much the party location. Virtually in the middle of the piste lies Arc 1950. This relatively young village is also the loveliest, owing to the typical wooden and stone buildings. True pros gather mainly in Arc 2000, as the most demanding pistes can be found there; providing a fantastic panorama view into the whole valley as well! Also part of this group is Bourg Saint Maurice, which lies close to Arc 1600 and is a good starting point for trips into the region.
